Silberpfeil
The March racer is inspired by the Mercedes and Auto Union racers that dominated
European racing in the late thirties. At first they were white, the official
German racing color, but soon these duralminium racers were left unpainted to
save weight. This lead to the nickname
“die Silberpfeile” (Silver Arrows).
The huge crowd is cheering as Lothar Graf von Lichtgraurenner is taking the
lead.
