Way to take it up a notch Mattias! It's really cool to come back after a few month's absence and see all the new developments. It's an exciting time to be a builder and spectator for sure! (20 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Gary Thomas
(...) Really nice Mattias! Great colors, and I like the wing guns. Interesting canopy solution, too. Though I cheated and dremeled a windscreen to make mine, I'll put a plug in for my Me109G I did a while back: (URL) Take care, Gary (20 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Klaus Dobisch
Hi Mattias, hey, great job on your Bf-109! I noticed your model a few hours ago and got really excited. The way you modeled the fuselage is awesome! I wanted do build the Bf-109 myself but couldn't find the time yet. I think I will just make one (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Thanks Klaus Good to see that you now are active on Lugnet.         Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Tobbe Arnesson
(...) Looking forward to the Spitfire too! What's next after that? Zero? Don't forget Hurricane, a lot do when it comes to WWII! And Stuka would be a challange! How about a group shot later when you have some more models? Or do you take them apart (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Mattias Martensson
(...) Thanks Tobbe Next model? A German twin engined night fighter as I wrote to Klaus or some other colourful fighter: I think the P-47 Thunderbolt is un-built so far. Shaun has already made an excellent Stuka and a super P-38 Lightning. Hurricane (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Erik Bush
(...) Hi, I really like the model, IT IS GREAT!, and I like the cockpit design. Great job with the front of the wings. I think it adds something but I am not sure what.         Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Shaun Sullivan
(...) Hi Mattias, I'll echo everyone else ... great job! I love how slim your cockpit canopy looks. That something I struggled for a long time with. Your P51 wing design is a true winner, and you've been able to produce a number of examples to prove (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: Messerschmitt Bf-109E is airborne —Mattias Martensson
(...) Thanks for kind word Shaun My building activity has been high for a number of days now (ask my family) It was the finding of the new P-51 wing that started it all.
