  Technic scale bike fun

While Bram was at my house building his II-Blade, I set to work on my first Technic Fig scale bike. Ostensibly it's a turbocycle, and part of my turbocycle league. However, it's more of a miniland or techic model by scale, and town by theme. It's a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Although I initially thought lime green had no use whatsoever, it looks perfect on a sporty bike like this. It's still enourmous for a Technic fig, but looks a little more to scale than a minifig on a turbocycle. Keep on SNOTin' --Bram (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Very nice. Actually, it stands as a great rendition of a current-day sports bike too... not to mention a very clever use of lime-green elements. I know that colour doesn't currently constitute a particularly large range of elements. Believe (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Thanks. Surprisingly enough, this set here: [LEGOSet 4095] Has a fair number of lime green parts, including the wheels I used on the Samurai. Eric Sophie gave me the lime green parts from one of these as he was driving back through town after (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Maybe it's just a midget on a regularly sized bike :) Thanks though Adrian (URL) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) I think you failed the Technic scale modern motorcycle scale thing, but it's still a good MOC! Perhaps the Belville figures is a better fit? I recall something about them being bigger. Also, the "seat" is unreal. But so are the Minifig horse (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Is that ever purdy...wonderfully SNOTted saddle and corbin seat. Betcha this would be hot seller for those bikeheads out there...seriously. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Not really. It wasn't designed after any particular bike, I just liked the name. Maybe it's a future model :) (...) True, it is a bit larger than I'd wanted, but the size was set by those wheels, which are on the large size. If I had a (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Adrian, It looks good, and I think lime green looks fine on a bike, it's Kawasaki-esque. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) That's an idea, but this kit would be extremely expensive! I could probably make it in other colors if those wheels were only offered in something other than lime green. It certainly is food for thought, though... Thanks Adrian (URL) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) I refered to the colors, not the name. But I see now that there in fact were some Kawasaki Samurai, looks like late 60's. (...) Yeah, the wheels always dictate the size. (...) Ooops! Leg cracked! j/k. (...) Bying "a couple of copies" usually (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: Technic scale bike fun

(...) Uh-Oh. A enemy for my (URL)! ;) Cool bike Adrian! I really like the use of swamp green! (URL) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)
