  New MOC: II-Blade

I went over to Adrian's house today and took advantage of his collection being 5 times bigger than mine to build my first dark gray MOC. This time, the ship does have controls: (3 URLs) II-Blade> I especially like the way the rear of the ship turned (...) (...) Two great ships in a short time! I'm impressed. The shape of the wings or blades is really innovative and I love the oversized look of it. I do not object to the front of the cockpit! Love, Sylvi (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) Bram Lambrecht and Jon Palmer have sucked away my dearest will to create anything ever again; possibly even in broader scopes than just the media of Lego bricks. I mean, what would be the point? When perfection is already achieved and proven (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) Excellent detailing as always. I especially like the use of blue arches for the raised "ribs", and the rear tile vents. I don't think the craft's overall form is particularly interesting, though. Not just the cockpit, also the wing shapes, not (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) You've certainly got the studs going every which way on this one. Very well done. I agree that the rear view holds the most interest. The trans fl.green, whilst not the most favoured coour in the box, works very well here, and the tiles for (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) I like the way the wings are angled. Too bad you didn't build it so that it could support its own weight *grin* (for those not there that night, I told him he ought to angle the wings because they would look nifty. He then bitched at me for (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) Interesting engine configuration Bram...I really like the inset trans rounds for engine ports. I'd have to agree the the cockpit while interesting in design, doesn't seem to gel as well as it could. Perhaps a dropped nose configuration...like (...)   Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) Dude, I agree. Wow. You should be ashamed of yourself, Bram. :) j/k Critisism? CRITISISM? Well, if you really want to eek one out... the front of the cockpit underneath the slope does look a little bare but you seem to of already noticed that (...)   Re: New MOC: II-Blade

(...) Well, if I had had more time, I would have reworked it to add strength. However, when 10:00 rolled around, I was more intent on finishing it than on worrying about structural integrity. In any case, that's the only structurally weak point on (...) (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
