LEGOLAND(R) California to Host Exclusive LEGO Friends(TM) / Loose Chippin's
Concert

New LEGO Friends Software to Feature British Pop Band

ENFIELD, Conn., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- LEGO Media International -- the
software division of the LEGO Group -- has teamed up with new all-girl British
pop-band sensation Loose Chippin's and LEGOLAND California to launch LEGO
Friends, a new CD-ROM game for girls ages 7 and up.  To celebrate the
September release of the groundbreaking LEGO Friends game, Loose Chippin's
will make their North American debut with a series of open-air concerts at the
Park.  The band will perform at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 24, and noon and
3 p.m. Saturday, September 25, at LEGOLAND in front of the LEGO Showplace
theatre in the Imagination Zone block of the Park.  The concerts are free to
LEGOLAND guests.

"LEGO Friends is an aspirational game that will both challenge and inspire
children to be creative with music and dance," explains Gregg Sauter, North
American Director of Sales & Marketing, LEGO Media International. "By aligning
LEGO Friends with an up and coming real pop band -- Loose Chippin's -- we're
making the game even more relevant to girls."

During both days, park guests will have the opportunity to win prizes
during the concerts, including free copies of LEGO Friends, LEGOLAND jackets
and other prizes.  Park visitors will also be among the first people in North
America to play the game inside the Maniac Challenge room, located in the
Imagination Zone.  The shops in LEGOLAND California will also be the first
retail outlets to offer LEGO Friends for sale, and the game will be available
for purchase in the park starting on September 24.

In a market dominated by products targeted at a male audience, LEGO
Friends will provide girls ages 7 and up with their own world of creativity,
fun and adventure where they join a girl band preparing for a big gig at
school.  As part of the agreement, Loose Chippin's will provide an exclusive
music video based on their song  "Inspirations" created solely for inclusion
on the LEGO Friends CD -- an industry first.

LEGO Friends includes many creative activities, such as composing songs,
choreographing dance routines and preparing a stage show.  All of these
elements can be combined and altered, paving the way for the ultimate concert
at the girls' school.

Running throughout the game are a series of animated narratives that
introduce the player to the characters of LEGO Friends and the challenges they
face.
