Hi all,

I just finished a major update of Bricksaic.  You can read about it and download
it from here:  http://klickitat.fial.com/bob/partscatalog/aboutbricksaic.php

Bricksaic is a program used to make LEGO mosaics.  It is very simple to use.
Just load you picture, select the colors in the palette, set the stud width, set
the orientation of the studs (up or out) and your mosaic is done!  If some of
the cells did not dither the way you wanted them, you can use the built in
editing tools to change the colors of cells.  Bricksaic will now print a color
map.  The map will be printed out on several pieces of paper in 48 x 48 stud
segments.  Bricksaic will also make an LDraw file of your mosaic.  You can open
the LDraw file (with LDraw or Parts Catalog) and get an inventory of what you
will need to make the mosaic.  The LDraw file is optimized to use the longest
bricks or plates that are available.

There are way to many other features to list.  You will just have to download it
and give it a try.

I'm interested in any feed back you may have.  If there are features or problems
that you would like fixed or added please let me know.

Thanks,

Bob Kojima

(...) Gorgeous! Bob, I've been planning out a program to do mosaics- but this blows my plans away! The only suggestion I would make is to allow the user to select the size of baseplates to use. 32x32 is usually cheaper, and a user might have a (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) Download went great. (...) First, of all, I would like to say that I think this program is awesome. I have never done a mosiac but I was able to have a parts list in about 2 minutes. Very user friendly. I did find a few possible problems, but (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) Yes, I have some problems I would like added ;] This program is great! I especially like some of the cool effects you can get with the "Nearest colour" dither. My suggestion would be to allow the user to zoom out (for those of us planning (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)
