Eight new subgroups of lugnet.people have just been created: Kids, Teens,
Adults, Singles, Couples, Parents, Support, and last but not least LGBT.
CHARTER/PURPOSE

lugnet.people (group and hierarchy)
All about LEGO® people (enthusiasts, fans, maniacs, collectors,
builders, etc.): Introductions, anecdotes, neighborly discussions,
helpful advice, disaster relief planning, etc.; manias, phobias,
addictions, obsessions, etc.; support for and relief from non-LEGO®
friends, coworkers, spouses, significant others, etc.; the human
condition as it relates to LEGO®; etc.

All about LEGO® people who happen to be adults: Introductions,
anecdotes, neighborly discussions, helpful advice, etc.; what it
means to be an adult LEGO® fan or AFOL; working within a budget;
LEGO® in the workplace; dealing with funny looks from strangers;
etc.
-> lugnet.people.couples (group)
All about LEGO® people who happen to be in a (not necessarily
hetero) monogamous relationship: Introductions, anecdotes,
neighborly discussions, helpful advice, etc.; dealing with a
non-LEGO® SO; dealing with a LEGO®-fan SO; cohabitation issues; etc.

parents; dealing with LEGO®-fan parents; etc.

| (...) You forgot the group I suggested in another post: lugnet.people.nwgwdag (Nerdy White Guys Who Date Asian Girls) group. It would provide a safe space to discuss issues I find interesting and important, such as posting "Asian Girl" alerts (...) (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.people, lugnet.admin.nntp) !
