The Pacific Northwest Lego Train Club is proud to announce their
participation in the annual Science of Art & Toys event the Oregon Museum of
Science and Industry. PNLTC has participated in this event for several
years and although the OMSI display is typically smaller it is always a
crowd pleaser. This year's layout will feature Ben Fleske's Roundhouse, a
monorail line, a ping-pong trolly line and a large outer loop. We will be
filling out the layout with detailed small town and big city scenery.
Static displays of rolling stock will accompany the main display, plus our
famous Kid's Rail Road will be there so the youngsters can build.
OMSI is proud to be hosting the traveling "Sue" Exhibit - the largest, most
complete and best preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex ever discovered, so be sure to
check her out while you visit. The show will run Saturday & Sunday December
8th & 9th, 2001, 9:30am - 5:30pm. The PNLTC layout will be located under
the main staircase adjacent to the Changing Exhibits Hall. Cost is $7 for
adults and $5 for youth and seniors (under 14 and over 62). For more
information go to www.omsi.org or check our web page at www.pnltc.org. Hope
to see you at OMSI with Sue!
