I have a SONY TR-96; A Video8 camera. A few years ago, I looked into the
best way of capturing video to my computer. I was just about ready to buy a
Iomega "Buz", until I started to read the reviews. Suposedly it's junk. I
upgraded to an ATI All-In-Wonder board. Best purchase I ever made for my
computer! About $200 CDN. That was my old computer.
When I bought this new one (P-800), I ordered it with an ATI All-In-Wonder
Pro. Both boards are similar. At the back, you'll find a "pigtail", with
RCA-type jacks for input and outout, as well as CATV in.
On a somewhat unrelated note, I'm frustrated with this new board because for
whatever reason, I can't grab audio when I capture through Premiere. I don't
get it!
