  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) **cut** While I have many ideas and many dreams, I shall share a few... For me alone, what appeals to me in regards to LEGO is, I like the colours and I like architecture, so combinding them both into one is pretty cool. I would love a tub or (...)   Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Now there is a tough question! I think a Main Street-type set, but with more detail would be fantastic. Maybe with some shops, a bank, post office - these would really add some actual town buildings to all the police/fire/construction sets. (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

(...) I really like the shape of (URL) globe. -Joel (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) As well as keeping the price down by using (theoretically) less-expensive plates vs. more-expensive bricks. If it's huge and costs $500, nobody will buy it, but if it's a regular-size globe like you see in schools, I can see that going for (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

(...) (URL) You asked for it, you got it, Toyota!> Corey hasn't posted instructions for this particular globe, but maybe he could be convinced to do so. Or to create for sale. I'd buy a set of instructions. Now take a look at (URL)! Cool, yes? I (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) While Town desperately needs diversification, figure packs would help 'flesh out' what already exists. What kind of construction site consists *only* of drivers, operators, and foremen? Those shovels & pickaxes aren't going to swing (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

A great question! I too would love to see more realistic castle theme stuff like what I found in the miniland at Legoland Deutschland this past September, except in minifig scale (for affordability reasons). Basic multi-functional architectural (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) I definitely second this. I remember this classic April Fools joke from a few years ago ... (URL) I'd love to see tubs like this actually see the light of day. For a 1,000 piece "specialized" tub like this, I'd probably be willing to part with (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

I think that they should bring back the older series and redo them. Come on, you can come up with some many new ideas for the old themes. For example. Paradisa sets (which I have been buying a lot of in the last 6 months) should be redone. I have (...) (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

(...) A design incorporating plates in addition to bricks. This would offer: 1) better resolution to the continents 2) a more refined spherical shape (18 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)
