The set consists of a rookie cop on foot patrol, and his seasoned partner in
a patrol car, ready to assist. I had wanted to build the call box so that
the phone would fit inside it, but the size was unmanagable. After finding
several pictures of Chicago and Washington, D.C. area callboxes of the era, I
decided to go with the smaller version seen in the picture.
I didn’t really base the car off from any real vehicle, but after it was
built I found a photo of a 1930 coupe that was almost an exact match to what
I had built, with a slighty different paint scheme.
Comments always appreciated.

I liked both vehicles and I adored the detail of the distillery and phone.
Are you thinking in doing buildings?
An old warehouse with a distillery, police headquarters, a visit by the
gangsters at a small shop...
