Marmon Wasp Racer
My latest MOC racer is a copy of the first winner of the legendary Indianapolis 500 in 1911. The Marmon Wasp was designed and built by Marmon engineer Ray Harroun. The name is due to the yellow and black color scheme and the pointed “sting” at the rear, an early attempt at streamlining.
