This is a daily snapshot of the numbers of e-mail subscribers to LUGNET
news/discussion groups. The number shown next to each group is the number
of e-mail addresses on the outgoing mailing list for that group. The
histograms on the far left summarize the time intervals at which people
have chosen to receive the groups.
If the newsgroup name is a hierarchy (ends in .*) rather than a single
group, then the number shown next to it is the total number of unique
e-mail addresses across all mailing lists for that hierarchy.
Note: Although these numbers do provide certain insights on readership,
they do not fully indicate total readership, because there is no way to
track subscriptions except the ones going out by e-mail. (Keep in mind
that all these discussion groups are also read via NNTP and HTTP.)
