(...) Actually, the problem was coming from the fact that slrn uses () instead of <> to separate the two, and the order *is* reversed. Arg. My nntp "From:" header usually looks like this: From: "Sproaticus" <jsproat@io.com> ...but for some reason, slrn seems to want to do this: From: Sproaticus@yo-yo.pro...novell.com (Sproaticus) ...and won't let me change it. I did't see the From header when I submitted, and had assumed it was generated by lugnet based on some other info(?), while in fact in my .emacs an instance of the old address had survived. The code handling the filter page was (correctly) looking at the virtual cookie in your member record but the code displaying the actual lists of articles was (incorrectly) still looking at (...)
