Hmm, interesting. I guess I've got some catching up to do... I
arbitrarily only grabbed those who posted at least 1000 times. I
recognize most of those as regular posters, but a few I don't recognize
as regular posters, but only one do I not recognize at all (Terry
Keller). Some of the folks I don't recognize as regular posters
obviously contribute regularly to some of the high traffic groups I
don't read very often (ok, how many of Mario's posts are to
lugnet.loc.it...? I'd guess he also posts a lot to the robotics groups,
but most of the posts of his that I've seen are in lugnet.loc.it...).
Others may have dramatically reduced their activity (or quit like
Jeremy, though I still think of Jeremy as a regular poster, but that
will fade if he doesn't come back [here that Jeremy, if you don't come
back you're going to fade away! So please come back!]).

Todd could you (would you be willing) to generate a list of number of
posts by group for each person? I can think of some other things to run
(like subtracting off-topic posts). One problem with such a list of
course would be how to deal with cross posted articles.

Also, for curiosities sake, how many automatically generated posts are
there? Does the count for you above include any of the group charter
posts or the TOS posts?

Frank

(...) Hmm, I don't think it ranked how often people posted (e.g., frequency) but listed the total numbers of articles posted by each person for a few groups. Anyway, here's an up-to-date list across all LUGNET newsgroups (I'll post something another (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.people, lugnet.admin.nntp)
