I'll second the offline editing for a different reason. Sometimes I get a
server error when I save the page, and have to save again. When the server
response gets slow, I sometimes rush along, thinking I have saved when I
have not.
Ideally the offline editor would allow for bulk uploading, and would permit
viewing, renaming and deleting FTX directories and files.
Maybe I should have posted this to dear-admin instead :)

| (...) What? You're kidding. Seriously? What does it say? Please let me know ASAP if this happens again -- and note the time of day -- it will help me look in the logs to narrow down the problem. --Todd (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

| Is there any utility that one can download for offline FTX previewing. It's all very well typing away in notepad but one really needs a way of previewing the code offline as often (in my case anyway :) ) it's littered with errors. Many thanks, (...)
