Why so many cancelled messages?

| (...) From me: first, I decided my post was trivial and a bit too pedantic for .lego.direct. So I got rid of it. Then, I made a post with a big grammatical error renderinging it hard to understand. So I superseded it. (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
