Sorta.  There *should* be an automatic thingie, but the better thing would be
to avoid it in the first place (99% of the duplicate posts come from the web
interface, I think) -- hence the idea about the unique ID in the form.  Anyway,
if I notice a duplicate post, I go in and cancel it by hand -- that is, if it's
an exact duplicate according to 'diff' (minus the Message-ID difference, which
will always be different).  If it's posted to two different groups or has some
text changed at the end (like someone corrected a typo and reposted) I don't
touch it.

Oh!  Well then, thank you very much for snuffing my dupe.  You got it
before I even refreshed the message-list display.
