I have implemented this at Brickset, along with set reviews.
For example, this page
http://nt1.pncl.co.uk/huw/readreview.asp?SetID=1422
[internal link - should not normally be linked to directly]
shows scores and comments for the MF, which incidentally has an average user
rating of 4.5/5.
The reviews make interesting reading
http://nt1.pncl.co.uk/huw/rr.asp
shows the last 20 or so added to the database.
By far the theme with the most reviews is Star Wars. It would be interesting
to analyse the data further to find favourite themes and so on, as you
suggest.
