(I hope this is the right groups to post this message in)
Okay, so I'm no computer whiz, and I know that I'm only thirteen but here goes.
First go to>>> http://www.tombraiders.com
and click on forums. Then click on any message header text link and examine
it closely. You will see a small text link that is called "edit". Click on it
and it will tell you that you did not type out this message, hence you cannot
edit it. Now of course you can't edit a message without you joining up and
posting a bad message and wishing to edit it. Maybe Lugnet could have this
feature (I would think that it would be for the paying members only). You
could integrate an edit link on the top right corner just before the message
text. A member of Lugnet, not happy with his/her post could click on it and it
would allow him/her to go to the post message page where he/she would have to
type in his/her passsword. Then it would allow them to go to the message box
screen where the original text of the message would be shown, then the member
could change the text around so it would fix the problem they wanted to edit!
And all they would have to do is press the Post Message button and it
reappeares in the same place that the original message was! This could be
useful for many purposes. A member realizing that they just made a typo could
just go and edit the message to fix it!Go to>> <http://www.lugnet.com/build/?
n=3634> If this person was a member, and someone had just posted one message
responding to his language, he could have edited the message to change the
words.
In all, I think this is a good idea, LMKWYT!
