seeing if this works

i wish we could do:

<url:http://www.nd.edu/~ahoekwat My website>
or
<url:www.nd.edu/~ahoekwat My website>
or
<link:www.nd.edu/~ahoekwat My Site>

Mmmm... hyperlinks in messages.

Hmmm.  Seems redundant to me.  You have already typed your URL and it will
appear as a clickable hyperlink on the web interface and current versions of
nearly all newsreaders and mail clients.

I agree that your message will look a bit better without a URL in the middle of
a sentence telling about your website, etc, but I just don't see a great deal
of value to it.  Also, the lugnet system of < > hyperlinks does not work with
newsreaders while straight HTML does.

I guess the redundancy thing kinda makes this seem very unnecessary to me.
