Todd,
Is it possible to add another accepted input to the /news/post cgi? What I'm
looking for is something like:
/newx/post/?lugnet.admin.general:1&name=Dan+Boger&email=dan@giccs.georgetown.edu
and have it automagiclly fill out the relevant text boxes? (Of course,
assuming you're not going to have that done already by the cookie)...

| (...) The current functionality is very close to being able to do that now, but the confirm step if there's no cookie assumes that the fields start out empty and ignores what's passed via CGI. (The post step does use this info.) How would you use (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
