    Re: Missing posts —Todd Lehman
(...) It's not repression or censorship any more than it is repression or censorship not to include rec.toys.lego on the homepage. Not including the .off-topic and .admin trees on the homepage is just that -- they're not proactively included. It (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

        Re: Missing posts —Markus Wolf
(...) So then what you want people to see when they come on to Lugnet is: (not shown are 4 messages from lugnet.offtopic.fun) rather than, let's say for example, a lively discussion of Toy Story 2?        (...) I hate to me too - but the news-filter really rocks!! :) Would making the text entry box longer make it ugly? Just that I find my filter is about three times the size of box. Looking forward to the new member toys :) Richard (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Later this week I think. We've got a lot of things that have been baking in the oven and are coming to fruition at roughly the same time (a week apart each, perhaps). --Todd & Suz (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

        Re: Missing posts —Todd Lehman
(...) Yes and no. The "no" part: No, that's not what I want people to see on the homepage. You should be able to (and now actually can) see those off-topic messages when you visit -- if you want to see them. (Or you can leave them turned off if you (...)          Re: Missing posts —Markus Wolf
(...) Yippee! Now I'm one happy Lugnut. Yes, I know I went overboard and exaggerating, but I was really frustrated with the whole discussion section being wiped out. But you came through in a very impressive way and you have my deepest respect. I (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
