Does the search function only search the body of a message?

It searches the body, the subject, and the poster's name.

could it
optionally search header entries?  Subject, From, etc..

Here's what it does -- when indexing, it takes certain parts of the article
and pastes them together into a single block of text to index:

   1. Subject
   2. Real-life-name of poster
   3. Body of message, minus quoted content

The order of those is special so that "foo" appearing in the subject counts
more than foo appearing in the body, and "foo" appearing in the beginning in
the body counts more than "foo" appearing at the end of the body.
