Hardly! This is small beer. And I think I overreacted a bit in rising to
John N.'s defense.

I think this is more about
- should we be self policing
- should it be informal
- what's the right way to self police and what sort of message is
appropriate

I think most of us would want to take the load off Todd but do it in a
way that is constructive and helpful. How to do that is the question.
And we've discussed it before. Another consensus check is always
helpful, though.

Well, I don't know where to start other than I imagined there would be ill feeling, but not to such a large degree. I had my reasons for doing so, despite being wrong. I feel it is uncessary for me to explain them fully. This is purely to avoid any (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
