I've been away from my computer for a few days so I've only just picked up on
this thread.

As someone who doesn't have a web site and is looking to create one in the
near future (I feel compelled to contribute more than just text to this group
as I have been greatly enriched Lego-wise since joining Lugnet) Jon's
"advertisement" did not endear himself nor his talents to me at all.

Apologies and privilege revoking/reinstating notwithstanding, I agree with
everyone else in that I'd prefer to create my own site. Sorry Jon, no takers
here.

I realize that this was a rather harsh and quick judgment, but I'm getting
really tired of people ignoring the rules, especially newbies.[2]

Whether being harsh and quick is a good thing or a bad thing is not yet
something I have a good sense for, but in this case, my gut instinct told me
that this was the right decision, albeit somewhat of a snap one.  It is of
course a reversible action.

Todd, I hope this newbie doesn't do anything to upset Lugnet. You used very
sound and fair judgement.
