Inline images are not okay, because inline images are pulled in automatically by most browsers, causing more hits on the image, making the assumption that not 100% of the (...) (26 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

| (...) Yes, both are well-formed URLs, if that's what you mean...? (...) I should clarify what I meant. :-) In the example labeled "good link" -- offsite links to URLs of that type are encouraged, and will work fine. Under the example labeled "bad (...) (26 years ago, 17-Aug-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)
