I am pleased to announce that the registration of www.ldraw.org has been
confirmed by InterNIC and should be operational worldwide by mid-afternoon
4.21.99 Central US Daylight Time. I have recieved compensation for the
cost and will promptly pay InterNIC US$70 for the domain. I am continuing

This weekend I designed the interface for the site in Photoshop. I still
need to break it up and reassemble it on the HTML templates, and I am also
awaiting full translations from Multilanguage Support staff so I can
reproduce the same interface in Danish, French, Spanish, and German. I
have recieved Danish and French currently. To my understanding Spanish and
German translators are still needed. If you are willing to help, email
Jacob at sparre@cats.nbi.dk.
This week I hope to have the full English templates complete and begin
writing content in English. I also hope to have the multilanguage
interfaces made in Photoshop and assemble their templates soon after. I
also hope to work with CSS for the format of the site and the templates.
By the end of the week I will have a better idea of the site content and
will contact volunteers and get a sense of direction on the project.
The font I am using in the images for the interface is Lucida Console. The
web page font for the text will be Verdana font family in CSS, and if that
is unavailable on the system viewing the page it will display Arial.
Verdana is a free Microsoft download, Windows 98 users can get it through
Windows Update in the MSIE font package (~700kb with several web fonts).
Verdana and Lucida Console compliment each other well IMO.
