Cannot login to lugnet with my mail/news client.

I have tried to login for the past 24 hours to the lugnet news server which was
news.lugnet.com. However, all I am getting currently is an error when trying to
connect to the server.
Can one of the Admins of the new server please contact me ASAP and also see if
they can track down my email message that I sent to 'gereon at zweisten de',
sent approximately 24 hours ago? It contains information which might describe a
possible cause, and I'd like to confirm whether the port settings on my
mail/news client should be what they are.
I cannot view messages except by the web interface at the moment, and I would
very much like to go back to using the mail/news client I normally use.
Please send replies by email, I'm not sure if I'll be able to find this thread
or not.
