Well, I have no feud with Eric or anyone else on LUGNET, but the feuding DOES
get tiresome, and detract from the purpose of LUGNET.
As you said, the right thing for Eric to do is to ask for his post to be
deleted, at least from .mecha. Barring that, if there are not consequences for
violating the TOS, I see that as a relaxation or suspension of the TOS. Why
have rules if the only enforcement is to tell the offender, “You have to say
you’re sorry.”
I’ve got a car to sell; I wonder how many groups I can cross-post that to?
