PS, and FWIW, this is an example where I'd like to be able to edit my
words, as originator, and a place where nntp technology fails us, a bit.
You can't do that.
I COULD go back and cancel and repost, but that would leave this thread
dangling.
In the conferencing system we used at IBM, changing your own words was
allowed by the rules, and by custom. And that included changing the
subject line if you so chose. If you were the owner (moderator) of the
forum, you could change anyone's words.
Different needs, different rules.
