Re: Two ways you can help LUGNET ...

(...) Bugzilla is great, but I'm not sure it'd be the best for external use -- its UI isn't terribly intuitive. Once you're over the initial intimidation, it's very powerful, but if you're just an end-user, it shouldn't be that complicated to (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Password Question

(...) Currently, you should send an email to Todd. Work is underway to change that, I believe. (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: REPLY BACK

(...) You'll hear no disagreement from me. I guess I just don't see the value add (given that there are no other lists that this is done for). (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: REPLY BACK

(...) LUGNET has a better mechanism for "subscribe as mailing list." Why keep this anachronistic exception around, gatewaying to an outside mailing list? If that list can't control its spam then I suggest LUGNET should pull the plug on the gateway, (...) (20 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Yeah, is one of those things that, unfortunately, you have to live with whilst using the internet.   Re: Two ways you can help LUGNET ...

(...) If LUGNET code is made open source, I'd be interested in working on implementing changes. Also, I would suggest using a bug tracking system like Bugzilla, rather than just posts in the lugnet suggestions group, to track issues. --Bill. (20 years ago, 12-Apr-04, to lugnet.admin.general)
