I noticed that the email addresses showing on posts are now spam-blocked. My
first reaction was "thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU", but then I noticed the
spam-block part was on the left side of the '@', i.e. not part of the domain
name. This is a big problem for those of us who own a domain. Lemme
illustrate...
I've noticed there are several variations used, probably to foil spammers who
might edit the spam-block out automatically. This means, for example (and I'm
guessing at some variations), that my posts appear to come from...
LUGNEWSspamcake@...
nospamLUGNEWS@...
LUGNEWSixnayontheamspay@...
I own the domain to the right of the '@', so now instead of getting one copy of
that great viagra offer I now get three!
Please Please PLEASE put the spam-block on the domain name, e.g.
LUGNEWS@spamcakeAMYHUGHES.ORG
LUGNEWS@nospamAMYHUGHES.ORG
LUGNEWS@ixnayontheamspayAMYHUGHES.ORG
