And since the subject's here, I'm sitting with one of my boxes for set 145,
which says "413 interlocking pieces - Store these building bricks in this
box." on the cover... I think the DB has ? for the piece count...

| Todd, I included pieces counts for basic sets from the mid 80s/early 90s in my comments for sets that I own. I also noticed that set 1661 was not listed. I hope this helps that database. (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.admin.database)
