Submissions not getting put into the DB?

I've submitted a a couple of pictures for items in the db that are missing but
they never get put in.
What's the deal?
Most recently is items 1060 & 1698.

| (...) I believe entering items into the DB is a manual effort carried out by volunteers. I'm not sure of the identity of the current set of volunteers but they may not have had time to get to your submission, or there may be controversy about the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Sep-03, to lugnet.admin.database)
