  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) I just reworked my sets2html-script; the only problem that I found was that the following link: (URL) give a full list of all supplemental items as the former version used to; instead it shows only the set 5315. This is also true for the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) Thanks! (...) Yes...not sure when, but that's still an eventual goal. It will probably happen first with the elements database. --Todd (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

Very nice job! Finally we have the range search ability..:-) Once we discussed fuzzy search with keywords, do you consider implementing this some time? (I mean searching by set characteristics, for example "red technic truck", "aircraft", etc.) (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) The 'large' images can be virtually any size -- some are more than 800 wide, I think, so what we were thinking of doing is generating a selection of larger thumbnails on 100-pixel boundaries... Right now there are 80x80 and 200x200 and then (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) How about integrated parts cross-reference? That's the new feature we need the most. KL (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) Very nice! One little request: would it be possible to set a cookie or a preference so that the pictures default to being large sized, for those of us lucky enough to have high-speed net access? (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) Excellent work Todd and Suz. One image problem with 1733 {Shipwrecked Pirate}, it shows the image for 1731 (imagined being shipwrecked on Ice Planet) pete.w <aquanaut@optusnet.com.au> (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) Thanks! (...) I think we'll need to add some kind of advanced search. Right now if you do some URL hacking you can get it to do logical-or, IIRC, on the theme (category) and date (year), but of course it needs to be logical-and instead. (...) (...)   Re: Announcing new set database

(...) OK, sorry 'bout that. Do you think it would it help if there were another "update" button below the rate box? (...) For now, they're in the box, but probably tomorrow your own personal notes will also appear along the top... It's just a loose (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) Looks good! Something I'd like to be able to see would be searching by two different items eg theme and date, so I could see all the Space sets in 1987. As an alternative, being able to sort the result set by year, or price, or number of (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

Just browsing through the thumbnails makes me pine over many old sets... I must say this is a definite improvement. Thanks Todd and Suz! (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Announcing new set database

(...) tho: 1) I figured out I needed to hit the "Update" button to submit a vote. But it's not intuitive where it's placed in the "My Collection" box. 2) Do the Private collection notes simply remain in the boxes, or should a new addition on the (...)   Re: Subthemes for Star Wars renamed?

(...) I've always thought of the trilogy stuff as 'Classic', that's what my S@H catalogs call it. Speaking of SW subthemes, what is the proper way of classifiying these sets? Basically, Star Wars can be classified three ways... Theme: Space (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.starwars)
