  Re: Bulk Lego Auctions

(...) GREAT idea. (...) Well, many groups have a blurb at the top which is the group specific part of the charter. But providing a link to the whole thing is a good idea too, and I've done that for trains and trains.org. I suggest other curators (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Sorry for the double posting

Hi Todd, Of course, nothing happened, so now everything seems to work as it should... For the next posting on the list, we will test it out frist to see if it's still OK.   Re: RTL posting stats (was Re: Lugnet Newsgroups Anniversary!)

(...) [snipped way-cool graph] Very interesting. I hadn't thought of "draining" in terms of number of messages, I was thinking in terms of signal-to-noise. Which is a bit harder to graph. But the anecdotal evidence seems to suggest LUGNET is having (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Since Suz responded that trying to collect previous suggestions might be helpful, I have started trolling through the various admin groups, trying to find items that were previously suggested.   Re: .mecha loading slowly??

(...) If the location of .mecha as a subgroup of .build is the reason for the slow loading, we should take another attempt to what (URL) Mark suggested 10 month ago>.   Brickbay subgroup again

I know this has come up before, but I'd like to request a new group dedicated to BrickBay. Todd, I can understand your intention to being fair, but do you really think this is necessary for this case? (...) Okay, cool. Now I understand. An understandable "mistake". It might even be considered a feature. So, we have two choices.
