  off-color red bricks

In our LEGO collection from sets bought in the 60's and 70's, some of the red bricks (a small percentage) are slightly off-color. They have a more glossy surface than other bricks, and they do not grip very well with other bricks or with each other. (...) (17 years ago, 16-Dec-07, to lugnet.color)

  Base plate thickness?

Hi all, I have this hankering to know the thickness of a baseplate. Not a regular plate, but a baseplate.   Re: Long Span Suspension Bridge?

(...) I built one a couple of years ago that spans 128 studs, with two tracks. It's pretty minimal. I used double 1x16 technic bricks to support the deck, then combinations of technic bricks for the trusses. The deck is just strips of 2x16 plates (...)
