(...) Yup, I've never had a problem with MSOE. I do go to Windows Update at least weekly, so I've always got the latest version of all the MS stuff. I have always used this program for Lugnet news. I have recently started a new internet service... Compuserve... I know, I know, but it was that or ($57 a month on top of normal hookup - ackkk!) Cable... Since I have switched it takes three or four (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Actually the .overview files weren't the culprit (which is good, because I was about to go insane trying to figure out why, if they were). The culprit was that when I applied this fix retro-actively to old articles: (URL) made backup/archive (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
