| Todd, I enounter an anomaly in Outlook Express (6.00.26) with FTX-formatted posts, as OE seems to think every such post has an attachment (showing the paper clip symbol in the thread view). This is not a serious problem, but a bit irritating, as (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.publish)

| I have implemented a web interface feature which allows an news admin* to apply a slight change to a news article: If for some reason the 'Followup-To' header on a post was set incorrectly, or was left empty when it should have been set, this can (...) | No -- carbon copies are e-mail directives. Followup-To is a NNTP header field. Followup-To specifies what newsgroup an article will go in when someone posts a followup to it. If you post message A in group X, and the Followup-To field of A is set (...) (26 years ago, 20-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)
