  sim6811 v1.3 for Mac available

Tomaso Paoletti has kindly sent me the latest version of his 6811 simulator, easily the best available for the Macintosh. It's available on cher in the projects/6811 directory, but cher is down right now, so you can get it from the HB home page: (...) (28 years ago, 26-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Assembly language and the handyboard

It's really not too hard to use, and allows users to create assembly language programs that are callable from IC using the C (...) (28 years ago, 27-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Handyboard vs. Botboard 2

Dear Fred and other handyboarders, This might be a strange question for this group. I am busy making a little robotlike object. As I have several Basic STAMPs laying around, I am making it multiprocessor - however, STAMPs don't have interrupts, (...) (29 years ago, 29-Feb-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Pic16c84 programming with Handyboard

David -- The MAX662 chip I used on the last beta rev was not the magic bullet I hoped. Not only is there possibly the rise time problem you mention, but when the thing turns off, it outputs 5v.   DLM and windows (95)

I would suggest that fred is pretty much right on the mark with his suggestions of windows being the problem with DLM.   Re: IC memory error

The freeware version of IC runs in a virtual DOS box. Check your configuration settings to make sure you give the maximal amount of conventional (640K) memory to the DOS box. Also, try using the .pif file that is distributed with IC. -Fred In your (...) (28 years ago, 9-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Run Time error 1

Peter: run-time error 1 is "no stack place for start_process()". This is given in the IC/Handy Board manual. The reason is your "repeat" procedure, which keeps making more processes!! Instead of this, put each of your subprocesses in a loop; e.g: (...) (28 years ago, 8-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
