RE: Kalman Filter on the NXT

I have a memory from attempting to use the Kalman filter, starting with a model, and working through the math, that it made some assumptions, which importantly included an originally good sensor signal subsequently clouded by noise. Kalman can (...) (12 years ago, 28-Dec-12, to lugnet.robotics)

  Getting Started with LEGO Trains

The book is finally here! I saw today that you could order the book from Amazon, which means most other sources should have it now or VERY soon. For the most part, I think you're spot on-- although I don't foresee a huge outcry from fans regarding a change in support for LUGs and events. The color change and 9v really affected everyone as customers, versus this which is (as I understand it) (...) (12 years ago, 6-Dec-12, to lugnet.general)

The oldest known LEGO bricks set of 1949??

I had always been looking for the very first 1949 LEGO sets with plastic bricks, but the closest I ever got to was circa 1950... a year after the 1949 introduction of the LEGO brick (known as Automatic Binding Bricks until 1953).
