Re: New MOC: AG weapons platform

Will, I find this to be a frightening glimpse at an all-too possible future. Thank god its in red, and will be easy to spot. All mockery aside, its a very cool anime-style kill-bot. I dig the chaingun. I don't think you need legs (IMHO), anit-grav (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

The color change is a great evil...come to your senses Lego and stop this blasphemy. Get rid of this "new coke" and give me my orignial recipe. (...) Nice work Jojo. Although I agree that the vignette "wow effect" is missing, it doesn't detract from the great part selection and attention to detail. I don't know Ley, the thing on the nose looks suspiciously like a death ray. Coming from a Space Hippy like youreslf, this smacks of a military-industrial complex sell-out of some kind. Workin' for the Man now, eh Ley? Although I do like the fact (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) They don't make these new panels in metallic green (aka pea soup puke green) - yet. And N says he built the car using only 8458 and 8466. When they were current panels #20-23 don't exist yet. <opinion> Anyways he's leagues above us mere (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.technic)

  Slide glide door geometry

Allow me to pull you guys off the excitement around the 2006 Technic sets to ask a question... Does anyone know of a working linkage or geometry for slide-glide doors usually found on low floor transit buses, with door panels being 5 studs wide when (...)   Re: Anime inspired container train for Soren Roberts containers

Wow, Timmy G, I was hoping I'd hate this train, but I have to say that it is excellent, and worthy of Soren's containers. I really dig the color scheme you chose for the engine. Do me a favor and post that Rusty Duck moc so that I can fire another (...) (18 years ago, 30-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Picard I

Nice work Nathan...although Kirk was the superior Captain, Picard is the superior probe. Nice angles here, and the main dish rocks. Most importantly, it looks believable. Also a good balance of greeblage, not too little, not too much. Your skills (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 8454 inventory from box - here is it!

(...) There are some parts with studs in 8454, if you look closely. And the number of studs on all those parts combined, is 64. How many beams are there, I didn't check either. FWIW, the stud count of 8455, in the same virtue, would be 30. :) :) (...) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.technic)
