  Re: New pics

(...) The 45982 tire (the big ones on the Backhoe) seems to be the correct shape, and about same size as the 8880 tires. Get them and you don't need the caterpillar tracks. BTW, that Bimba piston should allow us to make a fully pneumatic crane (...) (20 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 8421 Crane spotted in Toronto suburbs

(...) I did one better: Bought one on first sight, sold it fast for a healthy profit, then bought another one for myself. Next is to "refresh" my TRU receipt every month, until Bricks & Blocks and the like start carrying them at below full retail. (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Phantom - The Spirit.ocx replacement is now available.

I am happy to announce that Phantom.dll, a replacement for the Spirit.ocx is now available for general download.   Re: UMC Hospital

(...) Thanks John... this UMC is an amalgam of bland municpal building designs circa 1970's. My wife works at a UMC here in Fresno, but when we traveled 11 states last year for her interviews, every major city seemed to have a UMC, so why not (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Your mom's on fire (New MOCs)

Man, what a rip off that subject line is! Even though I don't like the whole mecha w/ medieval weapons genre, these mocs are pretty freaking cool. That sword the white one carries is amazing. Great job, but next time you use that title, I expect to (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Interesting suspension set-up

(...) That yellow piece came from 8466. And 8386 actually has the same piece, just in black. I once tried to motorize my 8466 with the RC buggy motors. It works, just not well because of the weight. But I think those yellow pieces went through it (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

While I enjoyed this moc Mr. Lenny, especially the simulated zero-g interiors, I find the increasing number of "Lenny-shots" in the gallery quite disturbing. Mladen, you never fail to bring the heat. Everyone has already hit on the great details, all I'm going to add is that it is highly arousing. No Brickfest will ever be complete until you bring one of these things to devastate the train/town layout. (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  LTC question

What is the 4564 tow truck's "hook" called?

Hi In 4564 train set, what is the tow truck's hook and hook's hing box called? I am looking for a set on bricklink and cannot find what they are named. The parts are shown clearly on page 5 of the instruction manual, or here: (URL) (23 years ago, 10-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)
