  Re: A Cool Viaduct

(...) Oh yeah, no problem about calling me Jason. It happens a lot in real life to me, too. I guess it could be a Mac-specific bug. If you know of any other Mac LDD users (or have a spare Mac box around), perhaps they could download this model and (...) (17 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Help identifying a set

(...) On the catalog in Brickset, there is an entry for the set listing it as "Pre-School Set" and the year 1976. I was guessing it was earlier, such as 73-74, based on the box art (relatively modern LEGO logo next to the old 5-color flag). Brickset (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Official LEGO storage boxes? For more than a hundred bucks each?!

(...) This is a bit of an old thread, but I thought I'd add one more thought here: I ordered two of the toy boxes ($30 each, discounted from $150 each) during the recent clearance sale, and they arrived yesterday. The most remarkable thing about (...) (17 years ago, 13-Dec-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

Air & Space - Celebrating 50 years since Sputnik

The current issue of Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine has a tribute to 50 space-related things, celebrating 50 years since the launch of Sputnik. And LEGO Space is one of them! The article mentions LEGO Star Wars (the game) as well as the LEGO (...) (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: LEGO Magnet and coupler statement.

(...) In the hi-res images of the new buffers, one can see an "S"-shaped line running across the face of the magnet enclosure; it appears to be made of two halves that are then assembled and held together with a slot-and-locking tab mechanism. I (...) (16 years ago, 16-May-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Variations in dark blue color.

::snip:: (...) ::snip:: I'm sure that packing errors are devastating to kids (who start a model but can't complete it), but I don't mind so much, in light of how I received at least 2 bags of extra parts with my new Town Plan! It seems that (...) (17 years ago, 13-Feb-08, to lugnet.color)

Brickworld Keynote - Updates on the Future of 9V Trains?

I was reading the Telegraph's article on Brickworld, and it mentions that the keynote speaker, Richard Stollery, was grilled on pressing issues such as the future of LEGO Trains and female minifigures. Could someone who attended the event please (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 10183 LEGO Hobby Trains on ILTCO

(...) Compared to the prices of LEGO Factory models, the price point for 10183 seems reasonable to me. The train parts on Factory are quite expensive, causing some of my train creations to average close to 15 cents per brick (and complete trains to (...) (18 years ago, 19-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Hail to the Chief!

  Re: Interesting Emerald Night Observation

Re: LEGO 9V Train Communication II

Re: S@H on line pick a brick

(...) There are indeed some pricing idiosyncracies. However, a few of these work to the advantage of the consumer. For example, large spruce trees are now cheaper (10 for $6.40) than the bulk bag (10 for $6.99). The same is true for train rails (8 (...) (18 years ago, 13-Oct-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What color are new 9V train tracks?

Some 9V tracks were out of stock over the holiday and, when they came back in stock, seemed to be from a new production run. The (...) (18 years ago, 16-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Although the blade area is still quite small, the LEGO Znap large wheels, 68mm (if you can find them) have a blade profile which should be able to drive a small wind tunnel. See this part (...)   Re: Best Selling Method for Sets: eBay vs BrickLink Question

Also, if you have sets for which you are not sure of a good asking price, the auction-style format makes a lot of (...) (17 years ago, 28-Feb-08, to lugnet.market.theory)
