Re: Where can I find some large capital space ships?

I second that; Gaming Books. Specifically, the Alternity RP System books (by TSR) are generally very good - esp since you can buy small, cheap, expansion books on exactly what you are looking for... JDM (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.space)

Lego Movie Maker Kit seen first hand!

I saw the thing today, in person at the LEGO Media Booth at E3. It is pretty cool! The guy demo'ing it said that it came with over 300 pieces, and from what I saw it looked like a city street that had been taken over by a minifig movie-crew - and a (...)   Re: what makes a train set a set?

Let's get Joshua to comment, but for now.... I'll put my oar in anyway. (...) That definition ("has trainwheels") matches all three of the categories cars, locos, and train sets. So I don't think that's it. I believe 3225 is the only set across ALL (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

Earthsea (was Re: Lloyd Alexander books (was:Re: 2000 catalog page 16))

(...) Woohoo! Earthsea is one of my favorite series. LeGuin has a rare talent for 'minimalist' descriptions - very capable of drawing out the essence of something in very few words. You know, the sort of skill Robert Jordan could use... <GD&R> James (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Adding height to minifigs?

(...) Some people don't use legs at all, but bricks. That way you can make a minifig at any height you want - dwarves, giants, Michael Jordan; they're all possible if you use bricks. :-) HTH, -Shiri (24 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Actually, the Indy Racing League is owned by Tony George, who also owns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (where the 500 is run). "Indy" and "Indycar" are trademarks of the IMS.
