  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

The Minbari, and to a lesser extent the Centauri, are suspected of using drives that interact with the Zero Point Field (don't have time to explain the ZPF right now), thus enabling them to use a reactionless drive. Yes, B5 ships actually obey the laws of physics by accelerating and deccelerating. Unlike 'Trek. In ST the ships always act like atmospheric vehicles, namely in the manner that they don't have to deccelerate/reaccelerate to turn around.   Re: How do YOU make your hangar bay doors?

Hehe, neither had I until I took a good look at one of the trains in the Lego catalog and then saw the part on brickbay. It's a 2x4 flat piece with a 3 plate tall end part that is either a small peg, or a holder for the peg, which allows 90° (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

That "unidentified alien craft" is appealing to the eye, it has a kind of 'latest and greatest' feel if you look at it so that you can't see the quarter domes clearly. But when you can see the quarter domes, it definitely has an 'alien' feel, and (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

Yup, train hinges. I just turned them at a 90* angle, attached them to the doors and ship, and I had a very strong, and simple door. Train hinges are actually great for this sort of thing... (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)
