  Re: Train Control

I used to be into "real" model railroading when I was young, and have been wondering when someone would get DCC to work with Lego. The day someone accomplishes this is probably the day I get into Lego trains. :) -- Paul Davidson Matthew Bates (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Where to find 8880 & 8448

I've been looking for both 8880 & 8448. I assume 8880 is no longer made and that I'll have to get it someplace like E-bay. Is this the case? I can't find 8448 in any TRU's or ZB's. Would S@H be my next best option? Thanks from a newbie, Chris (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Layout alteration (Was: Scans of my Minifigs)

I redesigned the Minifig Page, to make it more organized and easier to browse. I shamelessly borrowed the table layout from one of Pawel's pages(1), mostly 'cause I'm not very good with HTML. :) Anyway, I'd to hear people's thoughts on the layout (...)   Re: Train Control

Well, I just burnt up my last remaining motor a month or so ago, so I can't really test the DCC equipment. I've done some searching in NMRA site and have found some good sources to custom build boosters, decoders, and command stations. As for (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Can somone do me a favor

I was wondering if one of you could do up just the pattern for a firefighter maltese cross that would fit on a 1x3x1 car door. Since that isn't a very large area there wouldn't be able to be much detail, so that should make it pretty easy. If you (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

It's amazing to me that folks are STILL paying that kind ($120+) of money for Space Shuttle sets on E-bay -- there are TONS of brand spankin' new Space Shuttles at ZBs across the country for $75.
