Re: Design wanted: Touch sensor for passing trains

"Carl M. Kadie" <carlk@msn.com> wrote in message news:FnHCMC.KzF@lugnet.com... (...) Thanks for all the suggestions. I've refined my goals a bit: I'd like to use just Lego parts. I don't mind of the sensor is conspicuous. I don't mind modifying the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains)

Re: A great cleaning method for lego

(...) Toothbrushes can leave noticeable scratches on the surface of like-new bricks. "Static dusters" (as seen on TV! (tm)) work much better: no scratching, they can be used wet or dry, and they can cover a lot more area quickly. Steve (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) Nope, no bids on any of them. With luck, that seller will be put off eBay completely and we won't see him/her again. Kevin (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Anyone get Lego for XMAS?

I only got the Ulitimate Lego Book, which is very OK. The best thing about it was the picture on a "full" size 8880. Is this model in any of the LegoLands? Scott A (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: New castle minifigs--in which sets?

(...) Seven, and a Skeleton. The minifigs are: King Leo, Queen Leonora, Princess Storm, the Captain of the Guard (my Title), a Soldier, and two Bullmen. The Baseplate is the same design as 4990 and 5986, and has a 32x48 footprint. Jeff (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: My View of 6479

(...) You forgot the best pieces! Two 6x24 grey plates, and a shuttle base (grey wing thingy). I like the docks too, use them for ship docks or train station platforms. Kevin (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  Instruction Query (oddity)

Instruction Query (oddity) My oldest daughter was given a 5874 (Beville) for Xmas.   2000 Set Observations

I've not bought any yet. But I have lurked in the isles of a number of toy shops over the last few days. Two observations: 1. Very few of the larger sets appear to have the usual lift up cover which allows you to see the contents on the box. 2. The (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
