Re: 600 dpi scans of 2000 Catalog Insets

Stick it on top of a tilt-bearing hinge (that's what I've heard them called anyway), and voila. Hmm... got any (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Canonical use for Lego Trains at the holiday is around the tree

(...) Actually neither is LEGO but, I do have a train under my tree and another in my tree. I have an N-Scale trian in the middle of my tree (its a fake tree). The trains, of course, run in opposite directions. But what makes it really fun is that I (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Curious thick white gear with the slipping hub

Anyone know what this odd part is good for? One came with my RIS 1.5 system. The hub slips both ways, so it isn't a one-way clutch, and it seems to slip at low torques, so it apparently isn't a mechanical fuse. Thanks! Dave Paule (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: e-commerce (was Technic shuttle etc)

(...) I'm posting this late at night, so I'll try to be very careful about how I frame the reply. Taking advice from an American not to wheel in the lawyers I find a bit rich. But then I see our system heading full-on into the same mistakes that the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Bad Trader Alert!

Hey all, It grieves me to have to do this but I'm also glad in a way. It's the end (of sorts) of a six-month long ordeal. In the beginning of July I arranged a trade with this person: Andrew Gaul 5150 Terr. Jasmin St. Hubert Quebec J3Y 7B4 Canada (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
